CoreSinging ®

During the summer, Isabella gained a new teaching qualification -- CoreSinging® at Annecy in France. CoreSinging® draws on many cultures, ancient and modern, Eastern and Western and, focussing on right brain activity can bring creativity and imagination to performances. for technical The programme allows the performer to access their energy field and is particularly beneficial to students as it allows them to be in charge of their own learning and monitor their practice.

CoreSinging® does not replace other singing systems or technique, but works in conjunction and is complementary.

It is suitable for all genres of music ---any further information can be found on the CoreSinging®website.
Also, she has recently returned from the STSD conference held near London , where she took part in workshops covering Shakespeare(for the terrified) , Unarmed combat for the stage, Commedia dell’Arte, and Mime. Last year she had several successes amongst her students.

All of her Higher and Advanced higher pupils passed, many with A, and at the Ayrshire music Festival in March, Lise Mitchell Noble won the Howard de Walden trophy for the best individual performance of the Festival. "Isabella, I must thank you for your development and care of Andrew’s voice . I was so proud of him when he sang the hugely difficult part of Jean Val Jean in “Les Mis.” and I am so aware of the physical and technical difficulties he had to overcome to sing the part so well. I hope you will continue to care and nurture his voice." Kevin Keay
